PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

1:1 COACHING

What is it?

One-to-one coaching is a process which helps someone go from where they are now to where they want to be, expediting the journey.

What challenges can coaching help with?
  • Individuals needing help to improve self-confidence
  • Leaders looking for support in their personal development
  • Teams undergoing a period of change or transition
  • Managers who are new to their role
  • Business owners with specific challenges they’re facing
  • Individuals struggling with anxiety and/or stress
How does coaching work?

I work with coaching clients in different ways depending on their specific needs.

Some businesses require coaching for a number of individuals on a one-to-one basis, which may be a 3 or 6 month package.

General subjects such as coping with anxiety / stress, leadership and management essentials, or improving self confidence may be suitable for one-off sessions with larger groups.

Mentoring

What is it?

Mentoring supports individuals by providing access to an experienced person who can share their knowledge to support the development of a less experienced individual.

Mentoring services I offer

As a Mentor, I bring my experience to the table. Therefore the areas that I offer mentoring for are based on areas I have expertise in:

  • Confidence building
  • Work-based anxiety
  • Process improvement
  • Project Management
  • Programme Management
  • Team Management
  • Change management
What's the difference between coaching and mentoring?

Mentoring calls on some of the same skills as coaching such as questioning, listening and reframing.  However mentoring calls on the expertise and wisdom of the Mentor to provide more hands-on and practical guidance and support around specific work challenges.
